Recruiting Construction Volunteers For Final Phase of Lacombe Project

Habitat for Humanity Red Deer Region Society is currently working on our second home build project in Lacombe, Alberta. Our organization is building two new duplexes in the new Shepherd Heights subdivision which will house four new Habitat families come July, 2017.

Here’s where you come in! HFHRD is seeking volunteers to assist on this build, with shifts still available for June until Mid July!

Skills Required: • No construction experience is necessary to volunteer with the organization • Must be eager, passionate and a willing worker • Must be 18 years of age or older • Shifts are available Tuesday to Thursday and run from 9:15 am – 4:30 pm • Currently recruiting for both individual volunteer shifts and group build days Benefits: coffee and lunch provided to all volunteers

Training and support provided as well as a safety orientation

Anticipated tasks on site include painting and interior finishes, siding, decks and soffits.
