Completing the Aspen Ridge Duplex

On October 25th 2018, the keys to their new homes were presented to the Rodriguez and Brown families by Mayor Tara Veer of Red Deer and Bruins Plumbing and Heating.

The Aspen Ridge project broke ground in February 2018 and over the nine months of the build received the hard work of over 140 dedicated volunteers, wonderful support from the Red Deer community in the form of fund and material donations, as well as support from local businesses and the City of Red Deer.

The Aspen Ridge duplex is now home to Archana and Jonathon Brown and their son and daughter, and Jessica Rodriguez and her son.

Habitat Red Deer builds in Lacombe

Our 2017 build at Sheep Close of 2 duplexes was part of the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project - a nation-wide Habitat initiative to build 150 homes across Canada.

The City of Lacombe, the Affordable Housing Committee, Cadman Group, and Ridgestone Homes were instrumental in making these homes a reality. We remain forever grateful for their contributions and continued commitment to affordable housing. Our combined efforts have left a lasting community legacy of 8 affordable housing units to serve families in need for decades to come.
