Habitat Red Deer was recently awarded the Optimal Performance Award by Habitat Canada at the National Conference & AGM in St. John's Newfoundland in early May!
Over the last year, we incorporated new technologies and online systems for payroll processing, health and safety management, and volunteer management. In addition, a digital newsletter was launched, and a new website was unveiled. Instagram was also added to our social media platforms to improve communications with all our stakeholders.
By incorporating new technologies, Habitat Red Deer has improved productivity and efficiency in terms of staff time, improved service and information management. We have also grown our volunteer pool, increased donations, and engaged more gift-in-kind partners. Congratulations to the entire Habitat team - staff & board members - for this remarkable achievement!
