Mini-Carnival & BBQ

Habitat for Humanity Red Deer hosted our very first Mini-Carnival & BBQ on July 17th at our ReStore from 11:00am-3:00pm! Thank you to all supporters of Habitat Red Deer , and also to our very special volunteers who took the time to come down and help out - this event would not have been a success without you!

Habitat for Humanity Red Deer served 80 hamburgers and 7 dozen hot dogs at this event - not to mention there was delicious cupcakes and watermelon served through out the event as well. This event was a great opportunity for Habitat for Humanity Red Deer to show our "thanks and appreciation" to our wonderful supporters - in celebration of our 25th Anniversary in Red Deer as well as in celebration of Westerner Days!

See you next year!

We recognize that the land on which we work, gather, and live is within the territory of the Blackfoot, Tsuu T’ina, and Stoney Nakoda peoples and that the Central Alberta region we serve falls under Treaty 6, traditional Métis, Cree, and Saulteaux territory. We acknowledge and honour the First Peoples who have lived here since time immemorial. We stand with the Indigenous peoples of Alberta and continue to advocate for reconciliation.
