The Upcycle Challenge is back!

Habitat Red Deer has teamed up with the students at St. Thomas Aquinas Middle School to bring you another upcycle challenge! In the spirit of being of service and giving back to the community, the students will work together in groups to upcycle their ReStore finds and then donate the finished products back to the store to be sold.

Their creativity, skill, and teamwork will not only benefit Central Alberta families, but will also help to keep useable goods out of the landfill and promote environmental sustainability.

We are so excited to see what they come up with!

We recognize that the land on which we work, gather, and live is within the territory of the Blackfoot, Tsuu T’ina, and Stoney Nakoda peoples and that the Central Alberta region we serve falls under Treaty 6, traditional Métis, Cree, and Saulteaux territory. We acknowledge and honour the First Peoples who have lived here since time immemorial. We stand with the Indigenous peoples of Alberta and continue to advocate for reconciliation.
