shop the Red Deer ReStore

why should you shop at the ReStore?

The Red Deer ReStore is a social enterprise, meaning the proceeds from the ReStore support Habitat Red Deer and our mission. When you shop with us, you help the community. You are also helping the environment! All the products in the ReStore have been donated by corporate retail donors or individuals in the community! AND you're supporting local. The proceeds help local Central Alberta families obtain affordable homeownership. The impact of shopping at the Red Deer ReStore is staying in Central Alberta.

what does the Red Deer ReStore sell?

We sell home goods and building supplies. At the Red Deer ReStore, we're always getting new donations, which means our inventory is constantly changing. You can expect to see something new every time you come in to shop! We have a wide range of building supplies like windows, doors, paint, hardware, lumber, tools, lighting fixtures,  and home goods like furniture, dishes, kitchenware, decor and appliances. We also carry brand-new clothing and bedding from a corporate donor.

how do I know what's in stock?

Come in-store! We always recommend that you come in-store to look for an item(s). If we don't have exactly what you need, you can find some of the pieces or devise a creative solution!

Stay in the loop by following our Facebook page. We regularly post about new items arriving in store, as well as any sales or upcoming promotions you won't want to miss!

You can also call the store during business hours if you have questions; our ReStore phone number is 403-309-0998.

how do you price your donations?

We price merchandise at 40 to 60 percent below regular retail price. This price is made with our market research and the regular retail price (we don't price based on a sale). We also don't charge any GST!

We recognize that the land on which we work, gather, and live is within the territory of the Blackfoot, Tsuu T’ina, and Stoney Nakoda peoples and that the Central Alberta region we serve falls under Treaty 6, traditional Métis, Cree, and Saulteaux territory. We acknowledge and honour the First Peoples who have lived here since time immemorial. We stand with the Indigenous peoples of Alberta and continue to advocate for reconciliation.
