Karen Vavrek

Karen joined the Habitat Red Deer team as the new CEO in July 2017. She brings over 20 years’ experience working in the charitable non-profit sector, with several years in senior managements roles.

With a background in Business Administration, Karen is a passionate advocate for the sector and enjoys the collaborative approach in working with staff, boards, volunteers, and donors in helping to build community capacity.
